In partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Epsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter the Winding Ivy Foundation sponsors events to raise money for scholarships. Pink up the Pace 5K and Pink Panache Scholarship Benefit Gala are two of our premier events that we co-sponsor. Our primary mission for the Winding Ivy Community Development Foundation is to raise money to provide scholarships to area high school female graduates. Profits from the Pink up the Pace 5K and Pink Panache Scholarship Benefit Gala also fund the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Project.
The Winding Ivy Community Development Foundation, Inc. is also committed to support other philanthropic ventures that improve our local and global communities.

READING IS FUNDAMENTAL
Reading is Fundamental(RIF) is the largest children's literacy non-profit program in the United States. RIF believes every child deserves an opportunity to own books, learn how to read, and obtain the fundamental building blocks to achieve their highest potential. Literacy opens doors and enables every child the chance to live their own journey. Winding Ivy Foundation is a proud supporter of this project in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Epsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter.
